Amelia Redmond/ Educational Specialist, Interventionist, Diagnostician

Amelia has provided children with individualized education for 11 years. As a certified special education teacher, she has a variety of experience teaching students from pre-k to adulthood. She graduated from the University of Houston with an M.Ed in Special Populations and received her certification as an Educational Diagnostician.


Amelia follows the Data-based individualization (DBI) framework. DBI is a research-based process for individualizing and intensifying interventions through the systematic use of assessment data, validated interventions, and research-based adaptation strategies.She applies a diagnostic-prescriptive approach, which allows her to personalize instruction to target students’ areas of needed support and enhance their strengths. 



Amelia’s passion is working 1:1 with students using informal and formal diagnostics and assessments to identify roadblocks to learning. She helps students overcome these challenges through a personalized curriculum which unlocks the potential in every student. She believes every student is competent, has unique strengths, and deserves access to an education which helps them continually grow.
